USAA gets my vote. Believe me they made the home buying proccess less stress for a first time homeowner. My wife and I were able to most everything online and we were in two different states at the time. They assign you a loan councelor that you can call or e-mail all your questions to and believe this, they actually get back to quickly. Yeah, USAA is great. They also have great insurance rates for you home as well.

Veteran here to answer your question. My best advice to you is for you and your family to consider USAA. There are a specialized corporation run by former military members and dependents for military families, retirees, and dependents. They have many services from banking, insurances, college savings, retirement savings, etc. They have treated me and my family well for the time of my enlistment and afterwards as well. The is more info for you in the link below and hope this helps.
